Whimsical Floral Wedding at The Four Seasons, Hampshire
KEZIE AND MICHAEL’S ELEGANT HAMPSHIRE WEDDING
As the grand-daughter of a florist, I can spot a truly incredible floral moment (or several!) when I see them! Kezie and Michael’s stunning wedding at The Four Seasons, Hampshire, unfolded against the backdrop of some of the most incredible wedding floral designs I have ever seen from Flowers by Miri.
From the roses lining the aisle, to the elegantly decorated chuppah, to the single-stemmed rose table plan, to the glorious meadow installation for their reception, this really is THE wedding floral inspiration you need. Coupled with impeccable styling and planning by Lucy Bunkell, expect to be blown away by this one!
Alongside their florals, Kezie and Michael and their beloved pup Lilly were joint stars of this beautiful celebration. So much love and joy filled this day, it was very special to witness.
Thank you Kezie and Michael for trusting me to embrace your culture, your heritage, and your love. This means so much xx
A LUMINOUS BRIDE
Kezie started her special day surrounded by her besties, her mumma, and the impeccably behaved pup Lilly! When I think of Kezie, one word comes to mind: luminous; she was positively glowing from the inside out with such excitement and contentment.
This was delicately enhanced with her her bridal make-up, with a soft luminous glow and rose-gold tones to enhance her beautiful blue eyes. Her Monique Lhuillier dress from Browns Bride, has got to be one of my favourite dresses of all time, and it suited Kezie perfectly, the delicate embroidered tulle, the SLEEVE MOMENT! Just insane. After some precious moments for a first look with her family, she was ready for her besties to see her all ready to marry her Michael; the looks on everyone’s faces just say it all.
A GQ MOMENT FOR THE BOYS
One of the great benefits of having a second photographer for your day is you get to see the moments of your partner getting ready that you wouldn’t otherwise get to see. My lovely friend and second photography Laura Viecelli documented Michael getting ready, and we were both thrilled when he and the boys requested some ‘GQ vibes’! We got you! I will always bring a second photographer who is firstly, a vibe, a truly great person to have as part of the team, and secondly, will photography the way I do so that their photos flow seamlessly with mine in your gallery.
CEREMONY IN THE WALLED GARDEN
It was such a joy to witness this incredible ceremony which respected Kezie and Michael’s faith. A truly special moment was when Kezie’s father walked her down the aisle, pausing so that Michael could walk up to meet her for the badeken.
This was just such a beautiful moment, Kezie was so content to see her Michael walk up to meet her, as he gently veiled his bride, and they continued their journey to the chuppah together.
Kezie and Michael observed Jewish customs before tenderly exchanging their rings and vows, as both their parents proudly watched under the chuppah with them. Also, Lilly of course was very excitedly watching on and added to the moment when she walked back down the aisle with her humans!
DELICATE AND ROMANTIC GOLDEN HOUR PORTRAITS
You may have heard about golden hour? It is like the Chanel or Dior of times of day - everyone wants to adorned in it! Just before sunset, on a clearer day, you can get the most beautiful soft golden light which is perfect for portraits. Kezie and Michael were graced with a gorgeous slice of golden hour! After their group photos at the chuppah in the walled garden, we walked to the open meadow near the reception for a private few moments before the speeches and party!
I love how the light glows with the tulle of Kezie’s dress, like a halo around her. These two were just so happy and in love, so I kept things simple like I usually do, just focussing on the light and being together.
A SKY FULL OF FLOWERS
A sky full of flowers? You heard me right! Kezie and Michael’s ballroom reception was truly a sight to behold. Kezie’s vision was for a meadow of flowers, a whimsical and incredible experience to bring ‘the outside in’. A magical floral fiesta. With long tapered candles, elegant pink and gold stationery, and that stunning suspended floral centre-piece, I would say this vision was fulfilled!
Traditional dancing kicked off their evening celebrations before some truly lovely speeches, and more dancing! This was an absolute treat to be a part of!
PARTYING THE NIGHT AWAY!
After sharing their first dance, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, joined in for some traditional dancing. The sheer joy in the room was incredible, you couldn’t move for happy faces dancing the night away!
At the end of the night, this lovely couple led their congregation in a sing-along to Evergreen with doggy Lilly in tow. A perfect end to the most awesome wedding!
