COLOURFUL SUMMER WEDDING AT SYON PARK

Couple enter the Glasshouse wedding at Syon Park

I have been so lucky to have photographed this absolute dream of a wedding venue four times now in the last couple of years, and it really is one of my absolute top favourite luxury weddings venues in the UK. With its unique and stunning glasshouse, plus the grand manor house and gardens nestled in Richmond, it really has to be seen to be believed.

When my good friend, Sammy Taylor, asked me to second shoot this wedding with her, it was such an easy yes! Working with a friend all day in one of my favourite places for a truly sweet and lovely couple?! DREAM JOB!

Curated to perfection by Louise Perry Weddings, the florals and details were absolutely out of this world.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF WEDDING

Like many couples are choosing to do now, Waad and Khaled split their celebrations across different days. They had already married in a religious ceremony the day before, and this was their BIG party celebration with all their friends and family. So instead of having a ceremony at Syon Park, Waad and Khaled started their day with a first look, just for the two of them in the gardens of the grand conservatory.

As they didn’t have their wedding ceremony at Syon Park, they chose to make the most of the stunning locations instead for their couple photos. We had such a lovely time wandering across to Syon House, using the grand hall for some shots, as well as the gardens as the evening light descended.

A SUMMER GARDEN RECEPTION IN THE GLASSHOUSE

The jewel in the crown of Syon Park has got to be the grand glasshouse. Flooded with natural light in the day, as night comes, the lights reflect off the glass dome as if they were stars!

Louise Perry Weddings curated the most incredible floral display to act as the backdrop for Waad and Khaled’s entrance and sweetheart dining table. Their tables were adorned with light blue tapered candles, and an abundance of those coral and peach florals.

GOLDEN HOUR PORTRAITS AT SYON PARK

You’ll often hear photographers talk about the magic of golden hour! It’s that little window of time when the sun begins to set, when on a good day, the light has that flattering warm glow about it. Obviously, we had to take advantage of this. While their guests tucked into the wedding cake, we took Waad and Khaled for a five minute wander around the gardens in that gorgeous ‘just married’ golden glow.

They both looked like they had walked out of Vogue, alongside some romantic portraits, we took the time to make the most of the palm walkway with its neutral backdrop and cool cactus plants.

JUST A LITTLE DINNER AND DANCING…

Following their first dance, Waad and Khaled absolutely brought the party vibes to the dancefloor! If you want your guests to dance, you have to show them the way! Don’t rush to the bar straight away, stay and dance with your loved ones, this always encourages your guests to join in and makes the most of your evening entertainment.
